Cleaning Out
Cleaning out is one of the essential preludes to a successful fisting. While there are those who enjoy it without this step, for most people, cleaning out (i.e. douching), is a requirement before play begins. It is also where the most angst and worry arises in a fisting session.
Many worry about whether or not they are clean enough and can obsess about this to the point where they cant even enjoy being fisted. This section is to provide you with some techniques for cleaning out properly with the hopes that you will not spend needless time worrying about being clean enough and spend more time enjoying yourself. While the methods described here are not the only ways to clean out, they are some examples of how you can go about it depending on your needs and preferences. Feedback is always encouraged, so if you have any special tricks or techniques, please email me and let me know so I can incorporate those ideas that are best suited to this website.
As a final note, I know from what I have been told that many have experienced unpleasant feedback from tops who have gotten upset when during play some ‘unexpected’ material arises. My opinion is that anyone who is upset or shocked by such events is clearly in the wrong arena and would be much better suited to other forms of play. It’s a natural occurrence in the body so do not let anyone make you feel ashamed or upset if something interrupts your play. Any considerate person will let you know and let you do a little touch up as necessary, anything less is both rude and childish.
Why do you need to clean out?
Well, aside from the obvious reasons of it being a potentially unpleasant and messy experience, there is a genuine and practical reason for it. When fisting, any remaining fecal matter can be potentially irritating when not removed. As a person moves there hand around whatever remains is repeatedly rubbed along the inside of your colong, creating additional friction and abrasion. Minor amounts are not an issue, but anything beyond that can leave a person with an irritated and uncormfortable feeling. While unlikely to be dangerous discomfort is not a necessary part of fisting and if it can be avoided, even better. So a proper cleaning out is recommended.
How do I clean out?
The basic principal of cleaning out is simple: The rectum and colon are filled with water which is then evacuated along with any fecal matter that resides. This process is typically repeated several times until the water runs clear. This is the basic idea. The steps below outline how this can be done to the most effectiveness.
Beginners
I say that this is for beginners because while anyone can use any of the techniques listed here, I find that this is the simplest of the procedures and ideal for a beginner. The other techniques provide a more thorough cleaning out, but they take longer and are likely to be unnecessary for someone just beginning their adventure into fisting and assplay.
To start, you need an enema such as a Fleet enema that can be purchased in most drugstores. Get the one that contains a water and sodium solution. Do not use the oil based preparations.
Once you have the enema and are ready, I recommend emptying half of the contents of the bottle out and filling the remaining half of the bottle with tap water. The solution in the enema is made to produce a laxative effect. Some is helpful, a full bottle can result in an extra long process where your body will continue to feel the effects of the laxative in the solution, not a desirable thing once you’ve begun to play.
After you have emptied the first bottle inside yourself (follow the directions on the bottle for how to use the enema), and then expelled the water, repeat the process by filling the bottle up with plain tap water. Keep repeating until the water runs clear after you have expelled it. This is typically between 4-7 times.
Before you start playing, it is usually a good idea to walk around your room a bit to get any of the remaining water to settle down so you can expel it. After that, you’re ready to start the fun.
Intermediate
For an intermediate player, or those who have mastered the enema and want to go a bit deeper, it is a good idea to make an investment in a shower hose, also known as a “shower shot.” This is a hose you run from your shower head where you can toggle it between the shower and the hose. The hose has a nozzle on the end that looks like a bullet or a cigar and has a series of holes all around it. When you toggle it from the shower to the hose, the water will shoot out in 360 degrees. When it is inside you, this will fill your colon up with water which you will then expel. Just like the enema, but with a bit more water which provides for a deeper cleaning.
A few key things to keep in mind.
- Be sure to use COOL WATER. Do not run the shower like you would be taking one as the water will be much too hot. Please remember this as even water that is a bit too warm can mean some real discomfort if spayed into your colon. Cool water, not cold water, is ideal. Better too cold than too hot tho, so err on the side of caution. If your building has a tendency to flare up with hot water, then use the cold only and just don’t overdo it.
- Do not go overboard with the water. The best way to ensure you don’t fill up with too much water is to do a simple five count. ONE, TWO, THREE, FOUR, FIVE – REMOVE THE HOSE. Again, err on the side of caution and if in doubt, do a three count instead. This will fill up your colon with enough water to do a good cleaning out without going up too high and disturbing more than necessary.
- After waiting a few minutes, expel the water while sitting on the toilet. Some choose to do this in the shower, but I advise against it. If you do expel in the shower, be prepared that your shower will likely clog up over time. You can prevent this by using RID which is used to flush down your toilet if you have a septic system. However, if you expel the water in the toilet you wont have this problem.
- After you have completed this several times and the water is running clear. It is a good idea to walk around your apartment for about 10 to 20 minutes. It is common that by doing this any water that is still in your system will settle down and you will have to expel that before beginning to play. Once you have completed this step, hop back in the shower, rinse off, and with that, you are ready to play.
- Final note, for those of you who are new to this, be sure to toggle the hose back to the shower before leaving the bathroom. I cant tell you how many times I have turned the shower on and the hose has started to spray water all around the bathroom as the hose waves wildly around. Anyone who has a shower shot can attest to this, and trust me, it’s only funny when it’s someone else. Be considerate and don’t forget to turn it back to the shower setting.
Experienced Players
Okay, so you’ve mastered the first two techniques, or you’re just an overly ambitious person and have to jump ahead to the experienced version. Simply put, this is nearly identical to the prior (Intermediate) technique with a few minor additions. In this technique, you will let the water go up further, so count to 10. Otherwise the steps are the same. A few additional techniques for experienced plays. Taking an Immodium about an hour or two prior you will temporarily stop your body from continuing to push digested food through your system and prevent additional matter from continuing to travel down during your play session. Many experienced players find that this is a big help when they are going to start a play session.
As to why this step is for experienced players, that is because when you put more water inside you disturb a lot more fecal matter further up the colon. By doing this, you will have a greater amount of matter to flush out which, means you will spend a lot longer in the bathroom. Otherwise, follow the steps outlined in the Intermediate section and you will be fine.
Another tip given to me by a friend is to eat a ‘marker’. Something such as a bite of corn or red pepper at the time of your last meal before cleaning out. Because your body doesn’t really digest those things too well, when you see the marker flush out, you know your are clean all the way through.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to fast before I start cleaning out/playing?
The simple answer is NO, you don’t. However, many find that eating light, going to liquids, and occasionally fasting, can be a big help with cleaning out. That said, be sure to keep your strength up so don’t overdue the fasting. I find that for most people, a light breakfast and lunch/dinner, is ideal. It is best to not eat for at least 2 hours before you clean out but as always you need to test out these techniques for yourself and find the one that best meets your needs. In either scenario, be sure to keep your fluid intake up and rink plenty of water.
How long does it take?
Cleaning out can take as little as 20 minutes and as long as 4+ hours for some. However, typically it takes about an hour to do a thorough cleaning. Remember, you’re cleaning out, not disinfecting a hospital ward, so don’t overdue it.
I feel water inside sloshing around. Why is that and is it a problem?
To start, this means exactly what is sounds like, you have water remaining inside you. The best way to remove it is to walk around, jump up and down a bit if necessary, lay down, etc. You want the water to travel down enough so you can expel it. It is not a problem and you can play without doing this, but be aware that with time, the water will work its way down so at some point it will be expelled, either by intention or just with time, but eventually your body will expel it. Most people find they can relax more when they know all the water is out. |
